Mitchell, Gary R. 68 of Egg Harbor Township passed away at home on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016 with his loving family by his side.
Gary was born in Philadelphia, PA and was an area resident for most of his life. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Gary worked for many years for Atlantic City Electric. He loved to spend his time fishing, going to the Gym, Biking, Walking on the Boardwalk, and could be found constantly doing crossword puzzles.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Gloria , his son, Gary Mitchell, Jr., his daughters; Karen Gibson and Diana, his brother, Ernest Mitchell, his sister-in-law, Joan Corbett, his beloved cat, Glory, and many other loving grandchildren, family, and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016 from 7pm til 9pm at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Road, Northfield. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 10am at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Mill Rd. Egg Harbor Township. Burial will follow at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ.
