Obituary for Joseph T. Brennan

Joseph T.  Brennan
Brennan, Joseph Thomas - 70 of Galloway Twp, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017.

Born on February 26, 1947 in Philadelphia and later relocated to Somers Point, NJ where he then graduated from Mainland H.S. Joe played football for the Mainland Mustangs and took the title of "Undefeated State Champions" that same year which was then inducted into the hall of fame later in 2016. He then continued his education at Rutgers University the following two years.

Joe was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a die hard Eagles and Phillies fan. He worked as a bartender in numerous locations such as Somers Point, Fort Lauderdale, and Atlantic City. He was known for his wittiness and sense of humor, and to know him is to love him.

Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Catherine Brennan; and his brothers Pete and Thomas Schwarz. He is survived by his brother, Lewis T. Daley.

Joe was also known to be a beloved husband, father, brother, and best friend. Survived by the love of his life, wife Tammy Brennan; predeceased by step-son Jay Cronin. Survived by daughter Megan Kelley; son Jo-Jo Brennan; son in law Joshua Kelley; and his dog, Whiskey. He is also survived by mother-in-law Anita Widecrantz and predeceased by his father-in-law Bernie Widecrantz. Survived by brothers-in-law Tracy and Kaj Widecrantz.

A viewing will be held on Monday, April 10th from 8:30-9:30am at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish, 1421 New Road, Northfield. Interment will be held privately.
