Lois G. Stockton
Stockton, Lois G., “Gammy,” 85 of Northfield went home to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her loving family, on August 2, 2017. Gammy will be greeted in Heaven by her beloved sweetheart and husband of 62 years, Hubert E. Stockton.
Born to the late Harry A. and Oleta (Platts) Goodman, in Ventnor City, NJ on January 12, 1932. She attended Pleasantville High School.
Her family was her priority. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her beautiful smile and warm caring personality made anyone who entered her home feel welcomed. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She looked forward to weekly family gatherings where she made sure everyone had plenty to eat, memories were made, and everyone left feeling like family. She especially loved summers by the pool watching her family enjoy the “paradise” she and her husband built.
Lois was predeceased by sisters Oleta (Goodman) Bennett, Georgie Mae (Goodman) Chew, Phyllis Goodman and brothers Harry A. Goodman, Jr. and Edward “Bud” Goodman.
She is survived by daughters Lois Kauffman (Harold) of Northfield, Janet Ludy (Greg) of Linwood, Donna Hendrzak (John) of Northfield; her sister-in-laws Rev. Martha Ann Renn (Dale) and Willa Stockton; grandchildren Carrie Washington (Chris), Lori Kauffman, Christopher Ludy (Jamie), Danielle Wodazak (Tom), Jason Ludy (Erin), Matthew Ludy (Donna), Nicole Schrank (Christopher); 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call 9AM to 11AM Monday, August 7, 2017 at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. A funeral service will be held at 11AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Germania Cemetery, Galloway.
